Gemini is represented by the twins Castor and Pollux, together being the Dioscuri. Together they symbolize brotherhood and the bond that unites two people even after death. “They spend half of their time in the underworld, the other half in the heavens, where they are represented by the stars of Gemini.” Gemini is ruled by the planet Mercury, gods’ courier. Representing everyday articulations and interactions. Making them very organized and intelligent. Gemini is also represented by The Lovers tarot card, the lovers card represents choices and understanding, just like the sign the card gives us both sides and narratives. Gemini’s are known to be one of the most intriguing of the sun signs. Having a unique nature, makes them the heart of the party, and other social gatherings.
The essential oil blend for this soap is Orange, Ylang Ylang and Bergamot. Ignite your senses! For the herbal blend, we’re a little all over the place ironically just like a Gemini, teasing of course! For this soap I chose Blue Lace Agate for the crystal, blue lace agate is a nurturing stone. While the healing benefits are very unlimited, what brought my attention in was its neutralizing ability. Seeing that Gemini represents both ends, to me it felt important to find a stone that really calms all that energy, returning to a state of peace and calm. Other benefits of Blue lace agate are improving mood, neutralizing anger, soothing an overactive mind, strengthening and accelerating the healing of bones, throat and lymph infections, clears and cleanses root, heart and eye chakras. For the herbal blend I added Marjoram for good luck and happiness. Peppermint for cleansing, purification and psychic development. Mugwort for divination, protection, removing intuitive blocks. Oats for prosperity, energy, luck and money. Clover for love, fidelity and success. Orange peel for strength, vitality and creativity. Ginko biloba for healing, rejuvenation, resilience and longevity. Bergamot essential oil for joy, confidence and balance. Ylang ylang essential oil for clearing negativity, protection, aphrodisiac.
